These, as their name suggest are better suited to a domestic wormery or composting bin environment, the worms supplied are a mix of Eisenia hortensis (Dendrobaena) and Eisenia foetida or Eisenia fetida better known as Tiger worms or Brandlings. A mix of species and size is chosen because the conditions that arise in a domestic wormery are very varied, these worms are chosen because of their ability to work and thrive in such varied conditions. Both species are native composting worms.
